Texas Rural Heritage Museum NE has a large collection of antiques, railroad history, and aviation history. This is a little place with a lot of interesting Texas artifacts, you can also see the Ezekiel airship which children would really love.

Water Level Details
GOOD. Water stained; 72 degrees; 1.04 feet above pool. Water level is up and slightly cooler in the lower 70s after the recent rains. The fresh water has deposited new food, so black bass are scattered feeding in all depths. Crappie are scattered on brush and timber 12-30 feet. White jigs and minnows are the best. White bass are still schooling and have been seen hitting the surface at daylight and dusk. Bluegill have turned on and are being caught over brush and around shallow structures. Catfish remain steady with channels up shallow and blues cruising out deeper. Report by Chris Caswell, Lake Bob Sandlin Crappie Fishing Guide. Black bass are shallow in creeks and shallow banks. Fly fishing with craws and clouser minnow patterns should produce bass. Crappie and catfish are moving shallow fly fishing with wooly buggers, slow-sinking small fish patterns, or clouser minnows on sunny rocky shores might draw a strike. Report by Guide Alex Guthrie, Fly Fish Fork Guide Service. Crappie are excellent in timber and coves in 10-20 feet of water with jigs out producing minnows. Report by River Bottom Boys Guide Service.
