Fishing Report from TPWD (Mar. 13)

FAIR. Water stained; 62 degrees; 0.39 feet above pool. Crappie are fair with fish in 5-10 feet of water biting minnows or jigs. Catfish are good in 10-15 feet of water with cut bait. Sand bass are good at the Texas State Highway 21 bridge with white or chartreuse jigs. Report by Marty Thomas, Lake O the Pines Crappie Fishing. Bass are good in shallow water out to 12 feet of water using weightless skinny dippers, chatterbaits, and lipless crankbaits. Report by Mike Stroman, R & R Marine.
