Water Level Details
FAIR. Water stained; Water is 86 degrees. 0.16 feet below the pool. Catching lots of spotted and small largemouth around the structure but the bigger fish have slowed down. Crappie have also slowed but can be picked off of timber. Catfish have been very aggressive. Catching lots of channels and some big blues. No reports on white bass. Report by Chris Caswell, Lake Bob Sandlin Crappie Fishing Guide. Flyfishing for bass should produce bass with Dock knockers and small closures around retaining walls. Look for midday shade near boat houses. Topwater patterns in lilies should be good at mid and late day. Catfish are shallow, wooly buggers should work well. Clousers on sunny rocky shores might draw a strike. Report by Guide Alex Guthrie, Fly Fish Fork Guide Service. Crappie continue to congregate on structure, schooling on timber in 10-30 feet of water. Minnows are preferred over jigs. The quality of fish is phenomenal. Report by River Bottom Boys Guide Service.
