Lee Mathis & the Brutally Handsome are an outlaw/traditional/swing country band unlike any band you've ever seen before. The live show is a very high energy upbeat show with a lot of the country songs just not heard anymore mainstream.

In 2018, Lee walked home with Song of the Year from the ETX Music Awards with "Something About the Rain". In 2019, the band won Country Band of the Year, while Lee took home Male Vocalist of the Year & Songwriter of the Year.
